The month of May started with one of the biggest nights for social media in Dubai with Stylist Arabia Social Media Awards 2017 at the Westin Al Habtoor City. An event celebrating the best in a field growing exponentially in the region, from vloggers to Instagram content creators everyone was up for the awards.
The list of winners included: Eljammi Gozalli (@Eljammi) in the Vlogger category, Sherif Fayed (@SherifFayed) for Travel, Maricel Mansano (@TheSandGipsy) for Fashion and Huda Kattan (@HudaBeauty) got a special recognition award, among many other winners in different categories.
A couple days later took place Esquire's gentlemen's evening "Discussing Horology" at the Rosewood Hotel in Abu Dhabi. An event hosted by Hassan (aka The Arab Watch Guide) in partnership with "The Galleria" Mall in Al Maryah Island and Jaquet Droz. Jaquet Droz is a boutique watch manufacturer from Switzerland with incredibly complicated timepieces such as the dark blue watch with diamonds shown on my Instagram and many others including the ones shown bellow.
Back to Dubai, I had the pleasure to be invited for Architectural's Digest dinner to celebrate Burberry's exhibition in Alserkal Avenue: "The Cape Reimagined". The exposition stopped in Dubai's art hub after being shown in Milan, Seoul and Los Angeles. A brilliant demonstration of the craftsmanship and technique by the Burberry Atelier in London.
Followed a weekend getaway from Dubai to the neighbour emirate Ras Al Khaimah, invited to the Destination Dawn party, a 12-hour marathon from 5 PM to 5 AM, it ended up being a very relaxing and enjoyable experience staying at the beach front resort Waldorf Astoria. Read more about it here.

Hosted at the remarkable La Cantine du Faubourg in the iconic Emirates Towers, the French restaurant was the set of Bulgari's private event "Like a Diva". A fun night themed after the 70's to launch the brand's latest collection of leather goods and accessories.
To close the month, I had my first experience in a Ramadan tent (Since I was away from Dubai during this time last year) with the Iftar preview at the Asateer Tent in the Atlantis hotel in the Palm. A preview event to which Infiniti invited me for, represented in Dubai by the Arabian Automobiles Company. Overal a very enjoyable experience to spend some time surrounded by friends, talk into the night and catch up.

For next month wait for a lot more happening, I will be travelling to Europe and can't wait to share more about my experiences, the places and people I will meet there!
