Le Richemond In The Hearth Of Geneva

Last month was a busy month with a lot of work at the Geneva International Motor Show but it was a chance to head back to the old continent for a couple of weeks, and that's when I had the chance to stay at the beautiful Le Richemond.
Located right in the hearth of Geneva, this Swiss hotel has the perfect location in town and some of the best staff I came across. The people working here were very welcoming and a great help when it came to recommendations to explore and enjoy the town during the little time I had out of GIMS.

Once again, the location is just perfect – right in the center of town and only a few minutes walking from most of this city’s highlights: landmarks, restaurants, clubs, bars, shops or even just a beautiful park to enjoy nature and walk around appreciating the lake’s scenery.
Common areas at the hotel had a certain European charm with plenty of light wood and classical finishes throughout. Once you reach the actual rooms, the first thing that stands out is how spacious these are (Particularly talking about European city hotels). Something else standing out here were the views: from my room's balcony I had the perfect Winter scene every morning, overlooking the Geneva lake and the majestic fountain.
Comfort was the key-word describing the room, from the cozy materials to all technological amenities one can need during a short or long stay. Pastel tones contrasted the dark wood furniture and bright red tones signature of this property.

At the end of the day, Le Richemond was an amazing hotel to stay and both the property and staff created a great experience to be repeated. So if you end up in Geneva during Summer, Winter or anything in between I would suggest staying here – particularly if it is your first time in town like it was for me. Avoiding the need to drive or Uber every time you step out of the door.
